The world is full of makers, creators, dreamers, poets, writers and artists. Each one sees the world from just a slightly different perspective. If you were to ask 100 painters to paint the same scene, each one would look different.
I'm inspired by many things in my life; friends, the sky, my kids, the ocean, a tree, the sound of a bird . . . the list is infinite. I'm fascinated by the work of other artists and the things that inspire them. Often times I find myself inspired with a JOLT from the work of another artist. Just seeing what they've made sparks a fire in me.
I need those makers in my life. I need to be connected with them, learn from them, marvel with them and commune with them. Their very presence feeds the inner-artist that lives in my soul.
I'm fortunate to have Crab Terror Island as an outlet to share my art. I've long since welcomed other serious artists to share their collections here in the shop, women who make their art in the United States, many of whom are in Alaska. I want to surround myself with artists who are also entrepreneurs, who are as serious about running their business as they are about creating art. I want to bring this to you, my Islanders, this type of art, creativity and inspiration that speaks to your soul.
Crab Terror Island is based upon Community; The Islanders and The Makers. This convergence creates a vortex of support, creativity and inspiration; one feeding into the other. Your stories inspire the artists to create, their work tells your stories. We are all singing the same song that echos off the Alaska Range, flies on the wings of the Thrush and roars with the storms over the Pacific.
Crab Terror Island is bringing together women artists who are serious entrepreneurs to create a community in Anchorage, Alaska. We're building this together, Islanders and Makers alike.

Sina Sena is a small island, Alaska girl, who has BIG goals! She is a novice coffee connoisseur loves romance novels and is always down to eat sweets! She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they are trying to not get run over by their three boys! As a mom she believes that it is important to maintain her own identity and knows she is better because she works hard everyday to pursue her own goals. If you ever want to talk business, it is what makes her want to leap out of bed everyday (except in the winter, because Alaska is freaking cold then)!
