Recently I was asked by a few people if I would help coach them in their businesses. What an amazing compliment. To be recognized for what you have done, and that people feel they can come to you for advice.
Here is the thing though, they wouldn't want me as a coach. They really would not want me in their corner.
Because my expectations would be very high. My expectations are extremely high for myself, and I push myself to the brink every day. Even on vacation, I am working. People ask how I was able to get to a point where I was opening a store front.
That answer is simple.
I worked at it everyday. For hours upon hours, upon hours. I researched. I read. I learned. I tried things. I failed at things. I pursued my goals with uninhibited passion. I didn't take breaks. I didn't ever sit back and say I would do it later. I stayed up late. I woke up early. I forgot to eat. I lived on coffee.
I did this to get where I am now.
I know, people might read this and want to tell me to slow down. Take it easy. Soak in what I have achieved.
But, that is not me. That won't happen. Because I have my eye on the prize. I have such a clear vision of what I want to do, that I can't wait to get there.
Everyday I put in - is one step closer. Each ad I write. Every blog I post. Each LIVE video I do, all leads to my BIG picture.
So as wonderful as it is, to be asked to coach the new entrepreneur, I have to limit that to a certain niche, a certain client. That client has to be ready to work. To tear down what they have done and rebuild. They have to visualize what they want. They have to be prepared to put in the effort.
Because that is how you get it done.
